Part 3: DBS – A Simple Way to Make Disciples (20 min)

Key Teaching (5 min):

  • Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is simple and reproducible → Anyone can facilitate.

  • Focus is on obedience, not knowledge → Learning to follow Jesus, not just know about Him.

Activity (15 min):

  • Practice DBS in pairs using Luke 18:9-14

    • CONNECT: What are you thankful for? What’s a challenge you’re facing?

    • DISCOVER: Read the passage, re-tell in your own words, answer:

      1. What stands out?

      2. What does this passage tell us about God?

      3. What does this passage tell us about people?

GO: What is one thing you will obey? Who will you share this with?
